- This isn't the British House of Commons, this is the United States Congress. More respect should have been shown for the POTUS. President Bush was NEVER heckled on the chamber floor, even when the Democrats fiercely opposed him.

- I'm a "liberal" and even I have a problem with updating the NIV to reflect a gender neutral ideal. This is nonsense already.

- I actually heard the interview with Richard O'Barry on NPR a few days ago. He said the dolphins that are slaughtered are sick, injured or "violent" because of the roundup. Some are not desirable looking and no one will buy them.

- SeaWorld no longer purchases animals for their parks. They did in the begining but the US has very strict legislation banning this practice and no marine parks in America purchase their animals through these means.

- If someone is buying a dog or cat from a pet store, then yes it would be similar. But if someone is adopting a dog or cat from a rescue where they were abandoned/abused by their owners or part of a puppy mill where they were only used to breed for the owner's profit, that is completely different.

- I have visited marine amusement parks but I am very well aware of the controversey and feel a bit conflicted.
